Let’s Get Started!

Our Aviation, Aerospace, and Engineering program is a program designed to create options and opportunities for our students so an informed choice can be made about future career goals.

We’re delighted to share that we’ve also developed various options and opportunities for our Center’s staff and community volunteers as well.  Being part of a cause that unites so many people has been incredibly fulfilling and meaningful for us. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has joined us on this inspiring journey. Thank you for being an integral part of our shared mission.

How to Enroll

Students Will Need to Apply to Enroll in The Program as Space is Limited.

The guidance counselors at our three high schools will work with students who want to enroll to make sure there are no conflicts within the student’s schedule, and they meet the 2.5 GPA program requirement. GPAs less than 2.5 are reviewed on a case-by-case basis as some overall GPAs were affected by Covid scheduling.

Applications are accepted beginning in February of the school year and are turned in to the student’s high school guidance counselor.

There is a Downloadable Application and there will be an Electronic Application through Google Classroom with the School Board of Highlands County.

Questions about the program and enrollment requirements can be directed to John Rousch, Program Director, at rouschj@highlands.k12.fl.us .
